Let Us Help You and Your Dog Thrive
Whether you are dealing with a specific behavior challenge, looking for structured puppy training, or simply want guidance on building a better relationship with your dog, we are here to help. Reaching out is the first step, and we make it easy.
Your First Conversation With Us
When you fill out the contact form below or give us a call, here is exactly what happens next. Within one business day, a member of our team will reach out to schedule your free 15-minute phone consultation. This is not a sales call. It is a genuine conversation where we listen to what is going on with your dog, ask clarifying questions about their history and behavior, and help you understand which of our services would be the best fit.
During the consultation, we will ask about your dog's breed, age, health status, and the specific behaviors you want to address. We will also want to know about your household, including other pets, children, and your daily routine, because training does not happen in a vacuum. The more context we have, the better we can guide you.
If we determine that a full behavior assessment is needed before starting a training program, we will explain why and walk you through what that session involves. For straightforward training goals like puppy socialization or basic obedience, we can often recommend a program and schedule your first session during the consultation call itself. Either way, you will hang up with a clear understanding of your options, our pricing, and what the path forward looks like. No pressure, no hard sells, just honest guidance from someone who genuinely cares about your dog.

Service Area
In-Person Training
We offer in-person private sessions and group classes throughout the greater Austin metropolitan area. Our in-person service area includes Austin, Round Rock, Cedar Park, Pflugerville, Georgetown, Bee Cave, Lakeway, and Dripping Springs. Sessions take place at our South Congress office, at your home, or at an agreed-upon outdoor location depending on the training goals and your dog's needs.
Virtual Training (Nationwide)
Our live virtual training sessions via Zoom are available to clients anywhere in the United States. Virtual sessions work well for puppy training, obedience, behavior modification consultations, and follow-up coaching. Many clients find that virtual sessions are especially effective because we observe your dog in their natural home environment and guide you through exercises in real time.
Frequently Asked Questions About Scheduling
Everything you need to know about getting started, booking sessions, and what to expect when you reach out to Global Good Dog for the first time.
You can schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation by filling out the contact form on this page, calling us directly at (512) 804-9473, or emailing hello@globalgooddog.com. When you reach out, let us know your dog's name, breed, age, and a brief description of what you need help with. We typically respond to form submissions and emails within one business day and will call you at a time that works for your schedule.
During our free 15-minute phone consultation, we ask about your dog's breed, age, health history, and the specific behaviors you want to address. We listen to your goals, answer your initial questions, and recommend the training program or service that best fits your situation. If we believe your dog needs a full behavior assessment before training can begin, we will explain why and what that involves. There is no sales pressure and no obligation to book anything during the call.
For standard training programs like puppy foundation, obedience, and group classes, we can typically schedule your first session within one to two weeks of your consultation call. For specialized services like aggression rehabilitation or veterinary behavior consultations, the wait may be two to four weeks depending on current caseload. We maintain a shorter waitlist than most practices because we staff five certified trainers. If your situation is urgent, such as a bite incident or severe anxiety, let us know and we will do our best to prioritize your case.
Our regular office hours are Monday through Friday from 8am to 6pm and Saturday from 9am to 3pm. We are closed on Sundays. In-person sessions at our South Congress office are available during these hours. Virtual sessions occasionally have limited availability in the early evening on weekdays. We understand that many clients work during the day, so we try to accommodate schedules as much as possible, including early morning sessions starting at 8am and Saturday availability for both in-person and virtual formats.
We ask for at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. Cancellations made with 24 or more hours notice can be rescheduled at no charge. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice are subject to a missed session fee equal to 50 percent of the session rate. We understand that life happens, especially with dogs, so if your dog is ill or there is a genuine emergency, we will always work with you on a case-by-case basis. No-shows without any notice will be charged the full session rate.
Absolutely. We encourage it. Many clients reach out before they even know which service they need, and that is completely fine. You can call, email, or fill out the contact form with a description of what is going on with your dog, and we will guide you toward the right program. We are happy to answer questions about our methods, our team, pricing, scheduling, or anything else that helps you make an informed decision. There is never a charge for asking questions or exploring your options with us.
